You know, you shouldn't make her go over there.
I glanced quickly at Bruno, shooting him a glare. " Does it look like I'm making her?" I snapped, the agitation in my voice obvious. " And I believe its my choice on how I raise my pups." It really wasn't his place to suggest what I do with my pups. His comment about his mother was appreciated, but since my pup count was probably going to drop to one, I really wouldn't need a sitter.
" It's alright," I added when he apologized, sighing softly. I smiled at him as he wagged his tail to assure that he really was forgiven.
Not yet, mama.
I nodded, licking her cheek again. " I understand," I replied, smiling at her. I'd expected an answer like that, and couldn't blame her for it. I should've been acting the same way, but just couldn't.
Ophelia? Do you want me to take Ria and Bonsai back to Bloodshed?
I sighed, remaining where I was but looking to Kade. I didn't want to leave Harley sitting there by herself, plus, she was way more important to me than Kade was. Her comfort came above his.
" I suppose so," I replied, reluctant to let them go. I knew that Bonsai would be all over the idea, as would Sexaria. Although Bonsai showed an obvious dislike for me, he was a disobedient pup and I figured somewhat deserved to go where he wanted. Sexaria on the other hand needed punished, and staying here was probably worse to her than getting beat. " When are you planning on leaving? Mom and Zorai are both out of the territory, but I'd expect them to be back sometime this evening..." I added. I knew the presence of my mother and her mate was a big factor in how long he'd stick around. Neither of them would want him anywhere near the terra. Once they caught scent of him I was sure they'd be here to chase him off.

" 'Dad's just fine, Bonsai."
I smiled as he spoke to me. He seemed to be warming up to me. Now I definitely liked him more than my mother. Okay, dad," I said. It felt weird to be calling him "dad" but, he was my father, and I was proud of it. I smiled again, wagging my tail. He lightly bopped me with his massive paw, and I returned his move with a pounce, aimed at his paw when he set it back on the ground. He liked me, he really did! I was so happy I could have run through all the territories and back without even tiring out. Everything was falling into place, except for the fact I was stuck with my mom.
"Do you want me to take Ria and Bonsai back to Bloodshed with me?"
Okay, never mind. But did I have to be stuck with Ria? She'd annoy me even more without Harley around. I growled a bit at the sound of Ria's name, and I looked up at Kade, no. My dad. I looked up at him with a look that said, "really, are you crazy?" At least if we were in Bloodshed, I could kill Ria and nobody would really give a whoot. Hmm, that sounded cool. Bonsai, the wolf who killed at six months and never stopped. I liked the sound of that, I liked it a lot. But Ria would probably be a worthy opponent...nah. A smirk crept across my maw as the blood-stained thoughts entered my brain, and I welcomed them. This wasn't going to be so bad after all.

Bruno would duck his head when she snapped at him he expected it but still it made him nervous. He would let out a low sigh.
"I'm sorry." he would say as he looked at the two pups near the male.
He heard him ask if his aunt wanted him to take Ria and Bonsai to bloodshed. He blinked some then shook his head. He wonder if he should go tell his grandmother about what he just witnessed or just let it go. This could be putting the pack into grave danger with the enemy coming and going. Now he was one confused . Standing up he would head away from every one to think and debate.
"Your crazy Ophelia." He would mumble to him self as he walked away.
He wonder if his mother would of allowed this to happen to him and his sister if their father was from a different pack then her own. He didn't understand why a female would take such a risk when it was her pups that may be put in grave danger or even killed once they enter the other pack they smelled of the Lighting pack and the two packs are at war so this was a crazy move.

'Dad's' just fine, Bonsai.
I watched the wolves in front of my, rather bored now that nothing interesting was happening. Mother barked at Bruno, but I didn't really care. Bonsai started sucking up right away. Spineless idiot. I could tell by the way that his reply sounded strained, 'Okay dad', that he wasn't all that comfortable calling him that. I was certain that I wouldn't be calling him that anytime soon, even if I did favor him more than our mother. He hadn't been a 'father', so I wasn't going to call him such.
Do you want me to take Ria and Bonsai back to Bloodshed with me?
I laughed when I watched Bonsai's reaction. He seemed reluctant to go anywhere with me, which was pleasing. I didn't want him anywhere near me once we got into the new pack. As a matter of fact, I'd probably run away from them. I knew how to hunt; I'd watched mother do it several times. I wasn't very good at it seeing as I was too small to catch anything bigger than a fox. But with practice I was sure I could catch smaller creatures like rabbits, which would fill my small body just fine. I knew the wolves there would be looking to kill me just because they could though. I knew how I wanted to fight, I'd thought about it quite a lot, but had never gotten the chance to practice it and would probably get my ass kicked by anyone older than me. At least I'd be getting out of this place and away from Harley though.
You're crazy Ophelia.
I heard Bruno mumbling to himself as he passed me, walking away from us. I chuckled softly to myself, looking away from him and standing up, ready to get going. He was just jealous cause he definitely couldn't make it in Bloodshed. He was just like all the other Lightning wolves; soft-hearted and spineless.

"Alright. I guess we'll get going then," I said, as Ophelia mentioned her mom and her mate. The two alphas of the pack. I didn't want to get caught here, and I sure didn't want to cause more reason for why Lightning shouldn't side with Bloodshed in the war. Sure enough, a lean, thin white brute popped his head in through the trees, light brown eyes fixed right one me. "Kade, c'mon, I don't have all day." He growled, glaring at me. I grumbled, picking up Bonsai and swinging him up on my back. "Shuddup Taydin, I'm going...." I growled back at him, walking over to Ria. I put my nose under her stomach, sliding her up over my neck and onto my neck along with Bonsai. I didn't care if she snapped at me, I had thick skin, not to mention as soon as we were out of Lightning I could dump her in a river if I wanted to. "Well I can tell that the alphas are coming, so get your ass out here so we can take a fucking leave." He snarled at me, before looking behind him and shifting his feet a little. "I need to take a piss, too, and I can't piss on pansy property."
He snarled in agitation, and I laughed at my brother. I walked over towards Ophelia, gently stroking the side of her face with my muzzle. "If you ever need me, just call for me." I told her, smiling softly so only she could see. No doubt I would see her again soon, but who knows, she might need me for something important. Or if she just wanted to see me before I got around to meeting her in the Gather. "I love you, and don't you forget it." I whispered in her ear, nibbling at the base of her audits. I stepped away, trotting over to Taydin's side, the two pups still on my back. "Taydin, do me a favor and take the bitch." I growled, Taydin's massive jaws reaching towards a spot on my back; it was a blind spot for me, couldn't see it. Soon enough, he had Ria in his jaws, hanging by the scruff of her neck. It was a funny sight, and I smirked smugly to myself. She really had another thing coming towards her if she thought Bloodshed lifestyle would be easier. I yipped as the white head popped in, unsure of who it was. I hadn't even known he was there, nor did I know who he was. Him and Kade seemed to know each other, but I didn't know who he was. He was big like Kade, though about an inch taller. He seemed older. I immediately shuffled under Mom, not wanting to be in either one's way. I had a feeling the Taydin guy Kade had referred him as could easily kill me without a moment's hesitation. He probably wouldn't care, either. Kade had picked up Bonsai and Ria without hesitation, and gave my mother a parting touch before handing Ria off to Taydin. I sure hoped Taydin would drop her in some lake or another dangerous toxin. "Mom... what should we do?" I said meekly, turning up to look at her. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

I eyed Bruno as he walked away, thinking I'd heard him mutter something. I shook my head as I sighed, not able to make out the pup's words. He was too opinionated, and I knew that would get him in trouble. But, he wasn't my pup and he wasn't my responsibility. Skop needed to get a hold on his offspring and stop letting them run around like that...
I watched quietly as an unpleasantly familiar face appeared. I nodded when Kade said he would be going, watching as he and Taydin exchanged words. Taydin always struck me as weird, scary and intimidating like Kade, but obviously not as crazy; as far as I knew Taydin hadn't raped anyone... After being rushed quite a bit, Kade scooped Ria and Bonsai onto his back before turning to me. I smiled softly as he rubbed his muzzle against mine, and I returned it by licking his cheek.
If you ever need me, call for me.
" I will...," I replied, his smile making me grin wider. I glanced back at the two pups, one pissed and the other ecstatic. " I know Ria needs a beating... but please don't kill her," I whispered, glancing at him with a pleading expression before sighing at the pups. " Good-bye."
I love you, and don't you forget it.
" I love you too," I said, laughing softly as he nibbled on the base of my ear. I licked his muzzle again as he stepped away. I sighed and looked down at Harley, the area seeming empty and lonely now that we were the only two left.
Mom... what should we do?
" Well, it's really up to you dear," I replied, grinning down at her as I turned. " We could head to the meadow, if you're hungry. You're plenty big enough to start learning to hunt..." I myself was a bit hollow, and could use a meal. I wasn't completely famished though, and could wait a while if Harley wasn't up for hunting.
I growled angrily when I was suddenly lifted into the air and slung over Kade's shoulders. My face scrunched into a scowl as I laid across him, not really in the mood to fight him. I would no longer be under mother's care and back talking would probably get me thrown in the river. If I was going to live in Bloodshed, I knew I'd have to watch my temper until we were inside of the borders. " We're both big enough to walk," I grumbled under my breath though, not going completely silent.
I growled again when mother mentioned something about not killing me. Hell, no one was going to kill me, I didn't need her pleading to keep me safe. Abandon me, maybe. Beat the shit out of me, definitely. But kill me? I didn't think he'd go that far. We were heading into a war, and Bloodshed needed all the wolves they could get, including me.
Taydin, do me a favor and take the bitch.
I'd been ignoring the light pelted brute up until now. He headed for me, spreading his jaws and latching ahold of the skin on the back of my neck. I snarled as viciously as I could, wriggling under his grasp as he lifted me off of Kade.
" God dammit," I hissed, my legs and tail pulling up toward my middle instinctively. I dangled from his teeth by my neck, my body radiating hate and anger and my expression displaying the same. I exhaled loudly, glaring at everything my eyes touched as we moved slowly away from Lightning.

Bruno after walking for a while had came upon a nice sunny place with some small game animals. His stomach growled so he went and looked for a rabbit or bird something to eat. he barked and chased what ever came into his sight soon all his work paid off he manage to take down a nice plump rabbit. He would of preferred bigger game but there seem to be only small game. He picked up his kill and went to lay near the river to eat it. He was still wondering why his aunt let two of her pups go to an enemy pack that they were about to go to war with this could put her mother and brother in turmoil when they have to fight their own blood why would she do such a thing. was she a traitor he asked him self as he ate on his rabbit. Perhaps she was the one who tipped them off to where that one wolf was going to be alone.Bruno would shake his head. No she wouldn't do that" he told him self "stop thinking like that its going to get you in trouble or killed." he thought again to him self. Letting out a sigh he would just lay there and eat his kill. Peace and quite not other wolves around to ruin the calmness.

I could barely keep still as dad said we were leaving. I was so excited to be going with my dad, but not too thrilled to be going with Ria. I'd be sure to give her a good scar or two when we got to Bloodshed.
I know Ria needs a beating... but please don't kill her."
"Darn it," I muttered as my mother gave Kade this command, I guessed it applied to me as well. I sat happily on my dad's back, even though I could have walked. I felt happy that he wanted to take me and carry me. Ria wasn't as happy as I was though, as she was taken my dad's companion. I smiled a bit as she automatically curled up as she was carried, the position she took was natural and almost involuntary as pups are picked up by their scruff. "Bye, Harley," I said as we moved away from my old home, and toward my new beginning.
