With a sigh I looked around. It wasn't a depressed sigh or anything, actually my breath was quite taken away. After all the time I'd been with the pack I'd never went to this place before. The place that they called the Heavenly Heights. It certianly was just that. I cursed myself for not havinig come sooner, I was a fool for not. It positively had to be the most amazing area in the territory, in all the territories for that matter. I sighed again, contentedly, a pleased smile over my face. It had been awhile, with all the stuff that had been going on lately. Feirce's death, then confronting the Shadow alphess. I shook slightly remembering the encounter. It had not been a pleasant one to to put it lightly. I pushed the unhappy thoughts away. I just wanted to focus on this, and the view there was from up at this height. I'd never been one afraid of heights.
Nevertheless I hadn't gone all the way to the flattened top. Not yet, though I wasn't sure if I would or not. It was said that Liam made appearances up there to any that called. It was almost like sacred ground, and I certainly didn't want to disturb that. I sat taking in my surroundings before closing my eyes and letting the breeze wash over me. It was absolutely wonderful. At that moment if someone would have said anything about a war it would have seemed like a nightmare that could never happen. A frown creased my expression. No, it wasn't a nightmare, it was the living waking world. This was just a small repreive from that. As soon as I desended to normal elevation the full weight would fall upon me again. I wouldn't let myself be detter by that thought though. I just wanted to enjoy this.
