The Eternal Inferno

You continue on the left path for quite some time, noticing that the grass around you seems to be slowly disappearing. The path seems to fade into the ground as it becomes nothing more than barren soil. The temperature of the air intensifies ten, maybe twenty degrees and the terrain becomes dry, cracked and rocky. A bit further and it becomes more of a climb over rocks and boulders than a walk, and ahead you see something peculiar. Surrounding a patch of similar terrain is a mote. However, rather than being filled with water, the mote is filled with everlasting fire. The flames burn bright and up, caressing the sky. The rocks shoot up in random directions, though all meeting at one point to create a giant den in the center of the ring of fire. Dhaval loves the heat, and its obvious in the inferno that surrounds his den. Mortals cannot bare to travel past the beginning of the heat increase.
